PROJECT DRAWDOWN

There is a comprehensive plan in place, and in action, to reverse global warming called Project Drawdown. This plan outlines 100 solutions that humanity now has the means and techniques to implement a path that can roll back global warming to a point called “drawdown”, or the point at which the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere starts to decline on a year-to-year basis. The project is a coalition of researchers, scientists, PHDs, post-docs, policy makers, business leaders, graduate students, and activists who have assembled to present the best available information on climate solutions that describe their beneficial social, financial, and environmental impact projected for the next thirty years. You can find out more about this project and how you can personally get involved in the battle against global warming in a new book by Paul Hawken called Drawdown. Just click on this link: DRAWDOWN.

Are Your Wireless Devices Killing You?

Am I done yet? What’s that? Well done you say?

Yes, cell towers are dangerous!  As you drive around in most populated communities throughout the world, there seems to be a remarkable proliferation of 2G, 3G, and 4G cell towers scattered every few miles.  These towers support cellular telephone antennae and electronic communications equipment, typically on a radio mast, or a steel tower, or some other elevated structure. In large cities they are found on the sides of high-rise buildings every few blocks, often just outside of an apartment bedroom.   High-voltage electrical wires extend from the tower antennas down to a base station usually at ground level that encloses sealed telecom equipment cabinets.  Each tower is a microwave transponder and receiver and is a cell in a cellular network.   Each tower transmits high-frequency signals, or radio waves (RF), from mobile phones and other wireless devices, and emit strong electromagnetic microwave radiation for up to 45 miles over level ground. The closer you live to these radiation sources, the greater is your danger.  If you live within 500 feet of a cell tower, your chances of getting cancer increase dramatically.  Just using a cell phone for 30 minutes a day triples your risk of getting brain cancer.  So pay attention.  This is important information and it could possibly save your life and the ones you love.

The energy levels of RF waves from cell towers were originally designed to be “safe”, that is, within a range that would not break chemical bonds in DNA molecules, but stronger forms of radiation do damage human cells and can lead to cancer.  The wavelength of RF waves are usually long and can only be concentrated to about one to two inches in size, but that is all about to change.  We are now living in the period called the 5G roll-out and in the next few years, because of the growth of wireless devices, more transmission towers will appear at closer distances, and the intensity of high-frequency radiation transmission will increase.  Mankind is being microwaved to death as it is with small doses, and with the advent of 5G, the timer dial is about to be turned up.  So the question is not are you being cooked, but how crisp do you want to be cooked?  There is a good reason why birds don’t land or perch on them, so let’s wake up and take a lesson from nature.

Microwaves are man-made frequencies and include electromagnetic, radio, and various other microwaves at various levels.  They are not found in nature.  Humans are electromagnetic beings, however, and operate on what is known as the Schumann resonance which is approximately 7.83 Hertz (Hz).  Microwaves occur between 300 Megahertz (MHz) and 300 Gigahertz (GHz), which are between 300,000,000 Hertz and 300,000,000,000 Hertz per second.  Some researchers now think this frequency is actually increasing to 15 to 25 Hz, with spikes reaching even higher, so we are being microwaved in a very real sense.  Man-made electromagnetics may actually be impacting human health and is it lowering the life-expectancy of our species?  Apple, Verizon,  AT&T and other corporate giants are making huge profits at the expense of public health.  As more people become addicted to their smart phones, and more electronic devices are developed to use microwave radiation technology in our homes, the danger is increasing dramatically.  Even the power company is installing smart meters on homes so they don’t have to hire meter readers, but the radiation impact is alarming.  I am not trying to be an alarmist, but I feel a strong responsibility toward my customers and followers to raise their awareness about this overlooked form of air pollution, i.e., dirty electricity.  It is happening in our culture whether we like to admit it or not, and I refuse to contribute to it any longer. As a result,  I have decided to exclude designing Smart Homes from my design practice altogether.  As more and more devices are developed to talk to each other for the 5G roll out, the more mini-microwave radiation towers will be extended into neighborhoods and the more probable cases of cancer will increase.   Cell phones are now classified as a class B carcinogen.  The studies are out there, but people are just not listening.  It is time to wake up and do something about it. Do it for your children. This problem is bigger than you think and it will not go away unless people stand up and push back.  Look how long it took our society to shackle Big Tobacco and reduce its impact on public health.  This won’t be easy.  Here are a few videos which will explain the problem in a more practical, albeit dramatic way, but you’ll get the point.  In the meantime, try not to bake your brain…..

Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal was built in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as a tomb for his favorite wife so she would be housed throughout eternity in splendor.  It has become one of the great wonders of the world and is widely known as “the jewel of Muslim art in India.”  What is not so well known is that after the construction was completed, Jahan took measures to ensure that the great architectural building would never have a rival, so he had the chief architect and all the key artisans put to death.  All the stone masons who had performed the difficult work to the best of their abilities had their hands amputated.  All the artists that were responsible for the beautiful and delicate inlay work were blinded so they would never work on another building again.  Such extreme measures were obviously effective because the Taj Mahal is unique and there never has been another building in this category to match or surpass its beauty and wonder.
